In this guide, we’ll take a detailed look at Optiv Macro’s most commonly used general features. From setting up a successful Knight Online auto pot configuration to managing your inventory, you’ll find all the essential automation settings here.
📖 Table of Contents
⚗️ Auto Pot
The Auto Pot feature automatically uses a potion when your HP or MP drops below the threshold you set. Follow the steps below to configure it correctly:
- 1️⃣ Interface Position: Your character’s HP/MP bar must be located at the top-left corner of the screen. This position is required for the macro to read the values correctly.
- 2️⃣ Skill Selection: In the macro interface, select the HP Skill and MP Skill numbers according to their positions on the skill bar.
Example: If your HP potion is in the 3rd slot, select 3 as the HP Skill. - 3️⃣ Threshold Setting: Use the individual sliders for HP and MP to set the percentage at which the pot should be used.
Example: Set the slider to 40% to make the macro use a potion when HP drops below 40%. - 4️⃣ Tab Selection (F Key): Choose the skill bar tab (F1, F2, F3) where your HP and MP potions are located from the dropdown menu. This ensures the macro activates the correct tab before using the potion.
👾 Auto TS (Transformation Scroll)
The Auto TS feature allows your character to automatically use Transformation Scrolls. Follow the steps below to configure it correctly:
- 1️⃣ TS Skill Selection: Choose the skill number from the TS Skill list where the Transformation Scroll will be used.
- 2️⃣ Mob Type Selection: Select the type of mob from the Mob Selection list to which the TS will be applied.
- 3️⃣ Random Delay (Optional):If you enable the “Random Delay Max Sec” option, the TS will be used with a random delay. Enter a time value in the box next to it. After the TS effect ends, the macro will calculate a random waiting time between half of that value and the full value, and automatically use the scroll once the wait is over. This makes the macro behave more naturally, mimicking human-like randomness.
👜 VIP Item Transfer
The macro’s VIP Item Transfer feature automatically moves your items to the VIP storage when your inventory is full. Follow the steps below to configure it correctly:
- 1️⃣ Row Selection: The last slot in the selected row must be empty. If it’s not empty, the transfer will not start.
- 1st Row: Transfers inventory slots 1–7 to the VIP storage.
- 2nd Row: Transfers inventory slots 8–14 to the VIP storage.
- 1st and 2nd Rows: Transfers inventory slots 1–14 to the VIP storage.
- 2️⃣ Pause During Transfer: The macro or Genie may need to pause during the transfer.
- If you’re also using other macro features, enable the “Pause Macro” option.
- If you’re using Genie, enable the “Pause Genie” option.
Once the transfer is complete, the Macro or Genie will automatically resume.
🔨 Auto Hammer
The Auto Hammer feature automatically uses a hammer when your weapon burns out. Follow the steps below to configure it correctly:
- 1️⃣ Skill Number Selection: In the macro interface, select the skill number assigned to hammer usage.
- 2️⃣ Weapon Hand Selection: The macro needs to know which hand the weapon is equipped in. To configure:
- If the weapon is equipped in the left hand, select the Left option.
- If the weapon is equipped in the right hand, select the Right option.
- 3️⃣ Hammer Usage: Once the skill number and weapon position are correctly set, the macro will automatically use the hammer when the weapon burns out.
- 4️⃣ Important Notes:It’s crucial that the weapon is equipped in the correct hand; an incorrect selection will prevent hammer usage. The macro bases hammer activation solely on the selected skill number and hand position.
🐾 Pet Feeder
The macro’s Pet Feeder feature keeps your pet active without the need for manual feeding. Follow the steps below to set it up correctly:
- Important notes:
- The pet’s HP and MP bars should be positioned next to the character’s HP and MP bars.
- This feature should be enabled after summoning the pet.
- The pet feed must be placed in the bottom-left slot of the inventory (22nd slot).
⚔️ Weapon Switcher
The macro’s Weapon Switcher feature automatically manages the use of one-handed or two-handed weapons. Follow the steps below to configure it correctly:
- 1️⃣ One-Handed Weapons:
- Slot Selection: Select the slots where your one-handed weapons are placed (e.g., 16 and 17).
- Hand Selection: Choose the corresponding option depending on which hand the weapon is equipped in (Left or Right).
- How It Works: Based on the selected slots, when a weapon breaks, the macro will automatically switch to the next slot (e.g., from slot 16 to 17, and so on).
- 2️⃣ Two-Handed Weapons:
- Slot Selection: Select the sets where your two-handed weapons are placed (e.g., 16–17 set, 18–19 set, 20–21 set).
- Hand Selection: Hand selection is not required for two-handed weapons; the macro automatically manages both hands.
- How It Works: When the weapon in the left hand breaks, the first slot is used; when the right-hand weapon breaks, the second slot is used. All selected sets follow the same logic.
- 3️⃣ Hammer Usage:If all weapons in the selected slots are broken and the Hammer option is active, the macro will automatically use the hammer.
